Education and Qualifications
Mr. Xiao obtained Doctor’s degree in
law from Wuhan University, International Law School.
He is a mentor for doctoral postgraduate and an expert
in International Private Law.
Mr. Xiao is currently a professor with Wuhan University
and the Executive Councilor of China International Law
Research Institute. He is Councilor of International
Private Law Association of China, arbitrator of Wuhan
Arbitration Commission, mediator of China Chamber of
International Commerce, Wuhan Branch.
Practice
Mr. Xiao used to be a visiting scholar
with Havard University. He once did research in Hamburg
Mathieu Institute of Germany from April to May, 2000.
Academic Achievement
He used to be primarily responsible for
four academic researches at provincial/ministerial level
and above and act as the major partaker in eleven academic
researches at provincial/ministerial level and above.
He has published three monographs and 72 Chinese or
English theses.
